Before you start humming to the tune of Radiohead’s Creep, here me out.
When I first started this journey into the world of health and fitness, my first thought was – “There HAS got to be an easier way…a hack, a shortcut”. What is the bare minimum I need to do to stay healthy? There are tons of suggestions, tips and tricks about how to lose weight, eat right and stay healthy both online and from well meaning family or friends – so much fat to sieve through (pun intended).
Essentially, I hope this blog can be used as a platform to be the Google of Fitness, so you get to the meaty and juicy fitness facts quicker.

EXERCISE? There HAS got to be an easier way…
This blog also seeks to distill practical principles and separate fact from myth. Quoting Sir Isaac Newton – the man who came up with the law of motion and the very notion of gravity – “We stand on the shoulders of giants”. So too should this blog be viewed as a culmination of discoveries by others in the field of fitness coupled with some painstaking self-experimentation on our end to verify what works and what are instead myths.
The hope is with this newfound understanding, you then know how to easily adapt them based on your personality and lifestyle to finally reach those fitness goals – be it having a better looking you staring back in the mirror or to finally be able to run a full marathon, whatever it may be.
A lot of what I share here are my opinion and first hand experiences. So let us agree to disagree. My hope that this will trigger healthy discussions and spark further revolution of these thoughts.
Our manifesto
This Blog says YES to:
- humour and laughter!
- aspiring to be the Google for fitness.
- being a positive encouraging force to get you off that couch.
- sharing how to fish rather than giving the fish – practical fitness suggestions, tips and tricks packaged in an innovative way.
- triggering healthy discussions and debate – my thoughts are evolving all the time as I continue to explore uncharted territories on this journey.
This BLOG says NO to:
- advocating that my way is the one and only definitive way. Let’s agree to disagree.
